Why a dog?
At 90% accuracy, a professionally trained mold dog is the most precise, efficient, (and cutest), method for locating the hidden mold in your home.
Traditional methods employ lab testing, however air samples typically achieve 50% accuracy and often deliver false negatives. Surface samples, though more accurate, require an accumulation of dust to be effective. If one frequently vacuums and maintains a clean home, a surface sample can miss the mold that’s growing in your walls. Critically, there isn't a laboratory test that can locate the source of the mold, only a dog can do that.
With the ability to smell particles at one part in a trillion, or roughly 1/2 teaspoon of sugar in an olympic size pool, a dog can locate mold that is hidden in wall cavities, behind counters, and under floors. More importantly a mold dog locates the source of the mold, so you can begin effective remediation.

Once remediators have completed work, but before the costly process of rebuilding begins, we perform a detailed inspection to insure the mold has been effectively removed.
If mold is discovered, we provide a detailed map of which areas need to be addressed, ensuring there is minimal mold in your home before you rebuild.

My name is Adam, and I am certified microbial inspector with knowledge of building science and the remediation protocol.
